Many people are unfamiliar with how the claim process works and often times are unsure of what approach to take. Here are some things to keep in mind throughout the claim process:

- Every insurance carrier, policy and claim is different and often times interpretation into the policy wording is necessary to discover what the proper resolution for your claim may be. This may take a reasonable amount of time.
- Try to remain calm about your loss. Your anger will not influence an opinion but it may lengthen the process.
